Some Stuff About Me

Writing novels is a new challenge for me although I have been writing in different formats throughout my life.

After a varied career working in sales, financial services, construction, sports management, marketing, PR, social media and web design, I felt compelled to try my hand at writing. This is the result.

My working life started off at the age of 16 as a Poilce Cadet and then WPC two years later. I left to have my children 8 years later and whilst they were young I kept my entrepreneurial brain busy with a host of different part time businesses.

I admit having had a few husbands but I am now extremely happily married to my soul mate, John and we have been together for the past 16 years. We have three wonderful (now grown up) children between us -  Amy, Katy and Sam. John and I love being in business and have been involved in all sorts of projects - some successful - some not so.

I currently work in Marketing and PR helping companies get their message out there to their market. This involves a good deal of writing, so working on novels seems a natural step.

I never thought of myself as a particularly creative person, but I now know different. I find that lines of stories and characters personalities come into my mind as soon as my hands hit the keys. I feel very blessed to discover this.

I live in Shepherdswell, a lovely village in East Kent. My office looks out on to this view, so how could I not be inspired!
